China's eleven-month agchem export up by 11% in 2014
According to the data released by the Chinese General Administration of Customs, pesticides import volume in November was flat Y-O-Y, with import value down by 10% to $44.0 million. Pesticide export volume in November increased by 9.7% to 79 thousand tons, with value up by 4.9% to $279 million.
In the first eleven months of 2014, the total volume of imported pesticides was up by 19.7% to 82 thousand tons, with value increased by 9.2% to $691million. The export volume increased by 5.9% to 1,069 thousand tons, with value up by 11.2% to $3,825 million.

In November, herbicide import largely dropped by 50% to 1 thousand tons,with value down by 3% to $7.0 million. Insecticide volume was 1 thousand tons and value dropped by 7% to $13.0 million. Fungicide volume was flat at 2 thousand tons and value increased by 21% to $17.0 million.
During the first eleven months of 2014, the volume of fungicide was up by 13.0% to 28 thousand tons, with value increased 9.7% to $296 million. Herbicide volume was up by 18.1% to 24 thousand tons, recording a 1.6% increase in value to $146 million. Import volume of insecticide was flat at 10,000 tons and value was up by 5.5% to $152 million.
During the first eleven months of 2014, the top 3 countries of China pesticide import were EU, ASEAN and korea,with import volume 27.3 thousand tons, 26.1 thousand tons and 6.3 thousand tons respectively. The import value from EU, ASEAN amounted to $390 million, representing for 56.5% of the total. The import-export situation was similar,with importing countries highly concentrated.

In November, herbicide volume was down by 15% to 53 thousand tons ,with value up by 13.2% to $163 million. The export volume of insecticide grew by 11.1% to 16 thousand tons with value at $75 million.
During the first eleven months of 2014,the export of herbicides was up 6.6% to 742 thousand tons and 9.0% to $2,372 million, in terms of volume and value respectively. Insecticide export volume recorded a4.8% increase to 219 thousand tons,with value up 16.6% to $981 million. The export of fungicide increased by 4.8% in volume and 10.2% in value.
During the first eleven months of 2014, the top 3 countries of China pesticide export were Africa, ASEAN and Latin America,with export volume 280.3 thousand tons, 272.8 thousand tons and 226.3 thousand tons respectively. The export value from Africa, ASEAN and Latin America amounted to $2,630 million, representing for 68.8% of the total.
